Stress Reset: Tools for Calming Your Nervous System

This group helps individuals to positively tolerate painful emotions, manage triggers, process their pain in a safe setting, and receive community support.

This group is for anyone who wants more stability, peace of mind, and control over their emotional responses. This includes people navigating trauma, panic, stress, anxiety, or those who simply feel stretched thin and want their mind and body to reset.

Group Details

This 8-week educational support group is designed to help you feel calmer, more in control, and better equipped to handle life’s stress and emotional challenges.

In this group, you will learn to:

  • Restore a sense of peace and calm

  • Slow your thoughts and steady your reactions

  • Understand how stress and trauma alter your brain and body

  • Discover your ‘window of tolerance’ and how to expand it

  • Build resilience to handle life’s challenges

  • Develop everyday coping tools that actually work

This group may be a good fit if you find yourself:

  • Emotionally flooded or shut down

  • Panicked or anxious

  • Snappy, tense, or worn thin

  • Struggling to manage anger reactions

  • Triggered by painful memories

  • Feeling numb or disconnected from your body

  • Stuck in thought loops you can’t seem to slow down

A preliminary screening interview is required before the group begins.
