Men’s Betrayal Trauma Group

Discovery of a partner’s betrayal can leave a man feeling shell shocked, isolated, and powerless. Crucial to overcoming the excruciating trauma of betrayal is forming a safe network of supportive connections.

This group is for men who find themselves trapped, overwhelmed, or unsure how to respond to the shock of an intimate partner’s infidelity, addiction, or chronic deceit.

Group Details

This group will help members work through the crisis, enragement, confusion, and grief of betrayal. Participants will gain an understanding of betrayal trauma and the recovery journey, learn how to manage triggers and symptoms, increase clarity and self-confidence, open safe avenues for accessing connection and authenticity, and create a vision of hope and plan for the future.

Who should attend?

Adult males who experience symptoms of betrayal trauma as a result of a partner’s infidelity, addiction, dishonesty, gaslighting, or emotional abuse.

Ready for Level Two?

Many people choose to deepen their healing by completing the level two betrayal trauma group that expands upon the knowledge, skills, and understanding gained in level one. This group is for men who have moved out of crisis mode and want to achieve deep healing, profound self-awareness, and master self-honoring behaviors.

Logistics

A preliminary screening interview is required before the group begins.
